So today's the last day of the year and I'm feeling no difference. Was I supposed to feel different anyway?
Yesterday my whole family went to the MOE Language Centre to register for my Japanese Class! And then we bought most of the textbooks and workbooks. I found the books quite interesting. :)
So today's the last day and what am I supposed to do? Go to church for prayer meet and then 2009 countdown.
So So So many things have happened this year. Like joining teens and making friends, spending much more time engaging in church activities. And well, waiting for the "breakthrough" that was to happened this month. (God sort of told me that during one of the prayer meetings..) And I'm still waiting for it. And today's the last day of the the month! But there's still time for something to happen within the next 14 hours or more..
But now that I think about it,maybe all the littlest things do add up to one big "breakthrough".. Like that time at Pulau Ubin (riding the two-persons bike with Esther and Angeline.) That was fun. Or going to Kallang for the movie and then walking one whole hour and taking a bus to Paya Lebar MRT (like finally.) Or you could count in RYM Idol, going for all the practices and then appearing on stage. To winning 1st! (That felt great honestly.) and how about the time on Christmas when I almost stayed overnight in church. Even though I left before 12am, I still had fun before that.. And then this month, I played lots of Stress and Speed with various people in church. And then last night the phone rang and I happened to feel an urge (am i exaggerating??) to pick the phone up 1st. It was Nellis and she wanted to speak to my sis. But anyway she actually asked me whether I wanted to do the sound stuff in church during service cause they happened to be short of people. I was abit shocked cause Nellis asked me?! So obviously, I said yes.
So perphaps after reading all the bits and pieces of a "breakthrough", maybe you don't understand and all. To you, all these things probably don't mean much at all, but there all mean big and great things to be that might make my life better by heaps and bounds.. And it's all because of renewal christian church! My great church with all the people in it too..
So 2009 must and should be a better year!!!

I'm so glad we won for Renewal Idol!!! This is my 1st time I am getting a trophy! (Indirectly cause it's shared by the whole group) And to think I won it in a Talent Contest.. Amazing. I never ever thought I join a TALENT contest. !!!! Hand mime is not bad anyways.
Anyway, christmas was not bad. I really wanted to stay overnight at church. With Nellis singing Nobody again and again and playing all the games.. WHO COULD RESIST.. But however, my sister was not feeling well. Hui Juan was kind of disappointed too!
Then Hui Juan stayed over at my house.
The next morning, all we could do was play STRESS. (really stressful especially when you play with Hui Juan) And then my younger sister was sitting beside us, playing an individual game of SNAP all by herself. I wonder how she did that!!
And then Hui Juan left and I went to watch Bedtime Stories. Nice movie.
And today's Saturday and teens service.

On Friday and Saturday(which was yesterday), the Christmas rally was held in my glamorous church! As you all probably know, the media corp artiste, Zhou Chu Ming, shared his entertaining testimony! And the next day.. It's all over the news! Ok then, so what's wrong with sharing a testimony!? I totally support his testimony! And today, the Sunday Times is still reporting it. Well.. You can't exactly blame the reporters after all, they are just doing their job! Which is to get the news 1st.
Anyways, Thursday is RYM Idol! So excited. And today we gave out the flyers to the public. So tiring.. So to whoever who reads this, please come to support our very 1st Idol competition!!!!!

So my predictions were right! But I don't really like MGS.. The school fees are like $200++. Anyway, RYM Idol coming! Valerie's coming! I'm inviting Cady and Wei Shuen too. So excited.
Today is the adult and children christmas thingy at church at 7.30pm. I hope many lives will be saved by God today!

Weekend was fun when I went to Pulau Ubin and Kallang with my church friends! I really do wish I had learnt how to ride a two-wheel bike. Then it would have been less troublesome for Angeline and Esther. So glad they don't hate me for that. I am so thankful for their help!
And then there's the thing about contact lenses. Are my eyes really that big? They look so normal to me.
And I am going to make all the friends! Friends are important I guess. Who needs them? I do.

That tiny thing on my finger. I push in it and I am about to take my hand away when I realise it won't go in! I try again. Just one more try, I tell myself. It's sure to go in. And I position it and try to see the mirror. Now opening wide, I push it in, hoping for the best. And guess what! It's in!!!!!!
Those contact lens won't stop irritating me. And then I can barely regconise myself. I look so DIFFERENT to myself. Yay!
Another thing to think about is my blogskin. I just can't insert that cbox and my sister won't help me just yet. Oh and just in case you are wondering why MGS is my secondary school when the results of the posting are not out yet, the answer is it seems quite obvious to me that I might always end up there. Unless Nanyang's in the way I guess.

I'm so sad cause the trip is cancelled...But the replacement activities sound fun (ok, except fishing which I haven't tried before). But I still think going Chiang Rai is much, much better!
Yesterday, I got my 1st contact lens. Putting the lens in is much harder than it seems. Then cleaning it before putting it into your eyes is also hard and troublesome. So, perfect eyesight is still the best!
